I was born in 1985 in Nottingham, and brought up in the home of D. H. Lawrence, Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. I attended my local Comprehensive School, before deciding to leave school at 16 to complete my A-levels at a local Comprehensive Sixth-form College, Bilborough College. There I studied A-level Politics, and discovered a love of both debating and political issues.
At 18, I left home to study Economic Science at Manchester University. After graduating in 2006 with an Upper Second Class Honours, I stayed in Manchester. After beginning working as a trainee Chartered Accountant, I moved into my flat in Sportcity at the beginning of 2007.
I joined the Conservative Party at University in 2004. I became involved in campaigns for the General Election 2005, as well as local election campaigns in 2006 and 2007 in Manchester. In November 2007 I was elected Deputy Chairman for the new Manchester Conservative Association. Together with the other members of the Executive and Association, I am working to ensure greater Conservative Representation throughout the City.
In January 2008, I was selected to stand for the Ancoats and Clayton ward in East Manchester, as a progressive alternative to the current Labour Council leadership.
